Coach's comments
I love teaching Love Serving Autism classes! It brings me great joy to see these kids progress not only in their tennis skill development but also in their life skills development! As a Special Olympics volunteer coach, I am constantly amazed at the level of sportsmanship the athletes display so readily! I have found that these athletes teach me more than I could ever teach them!

Last year my son Frederick was diagnosed with ASD. Being a tennis coach, I knew that my son could benefit tremendously from the sport of tennis and all the wonderful life lessons that come with it. We began hitting balls just for fun so he could become familiar with the surroundings and the equipment. It wasn’t long before Frederick loved hearing the “pop” of the ball hitting his strings. The joy I receive as his dad being able to spend time with him on the court is immeasurable. I’m not sure where our journey will take us, but I do know that having an organization like Love Serving Autism will benefit so many kids and families like my own.
